World War Two POW Camps



The map below, from a wartime magazine, shows all the German camps. Among the more famous are Oflag 4c, Colditz, near Dresden; Sagan, scene of the the "Great Escape" after which 50 officers were shot by the Gestapo; Barth, an Air Force camp on the Baltic coast; and Thorn, on the Vistula River in Poland.
